Wolves Vs. United match analysis

First half Analysis

From the team lineup, clear long balls were not a tactical option, Amad leading the line with Daniel James and Elanga in the left and right-wing, respectively, and the apparent size difference between the opposition defenders and United’s final third. United was going to pass their way to victory.

The 12th min saw Elanga convert a fantastic delivery from Daniel James to give United the lead. He showed confidence, composure, and his performance of the night, indicating that he deserves a promotion to the first team.

An injury on the 21st min on Adama summed up what wolves have been dealing with all season.

The hosts gradually grew into the game, retaining possession, and it paid off. Semedo’s 38th min equalizer, added life to the game.

In the last straw of the game, Donny went down after a tackle from Saiss, the on-pitch decision by Mike Dean was No Penalty, but after review by VAR, United was awarded the penalty. A well-struck ball to the corner from the spot by Mata gave United the lead going to halftime.

Second half Analysis

The game got a little stagnant with wolves, a better team of the two pushing for a win. It was an opportunity for Ole to give Hannibal his senior debut.
