Did Ole Succeeded where Jose couldn’t?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Plan

The squad that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer inherited from Jose Mourinho isn’t the same as at now over the years. Any great coach will struggle with that team that consisted the likes of Fellaini, Valencia, Jones, Smalling and Alexis Sanchez. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a plan!

Most of Manchester United fans were distraught by the antics of Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola. With the agent claiming Paul Pogba will want a move in the summer, we will see! This propaganda has created a huge traction between most fans and Paul Pogba. But the Gaffer has handled it maturely, differently unlike Jose’s tenure.

Mourinho had to drop Paul Pogba due to some reasons, that is not a good man-management from the Portuguese.

The Trophies

Undoubtedly Mourinho gave us two trophies (Europa League & Carabao Cup).

He finished at the second spot of the Premier League table, which the former Gaffer went further to state that, “Finishing second at the EPL was his best achievement in his coaching career.” Very poetic, I wonder why?

On the other hand, his successor, Ole has lost 4 Semi-finals, which undoubtedly if it were to be Jose he should have won 2-3 out of the 4.

But at the moment they seem to be a new spark of energy and positivity around the dressing room, with major signings like Bruno Fernandes & Edinson Cavani bringing their winning mentality to this squad. Both signings are having a tremendous effect no doubt with the result of the team performance now leading us to the title charge and also sitting at the top of the Premier League table putting bitter rivals like Liverpool and noisy neighbors Manchester City at bay.

Conclusion

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team looks like a happy camper so far. It is only a matter of time, before he delivers his first laurel for The Red Devils. Should he win this year Premier League? No doubt Jose Mourinho will have to go to the press or into hiding because Ole succeeded where he couldn’t.
