Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba both stole the show with spectacular performances. Bruno recorded his first Manchester United hat-trick, and did it in front of a packed Old Trafford. He became only the 10th player to score a hat trick on the opening day of the Premier League. Not to be outdone, Paul Pogba recorded four assists against Leeds United. He became the eighth player in Premier League history and the first United player to have four assists in a game.

Along with great goals from Mason Greenwood and Fred, United put Leeds to bed in the second half. They now start the season off at the top of the Premier League. Thanks to Fernandes and Pogba, the team can move with confidence to the next match against Southampton.
