Tony Martial signs again.
Wow, I was beginning to get frustrated at the slow progress the board was making in negotiating for long term contracts with our players. And to make things worse, the January window was very quiet with no arrivals or departures.
Today just got a whole lot better! 😄 #MUFC— Manchester United (@ManUtd) January 31, 2019
Lo and behold! Our deadline day activity has been nothing less than outstanding for us, the Manchester United fans. No one in the world can doubt the potential that lies in Anthony Martial.

Prior to the World Cup, the news surrounding Anthony Martial and his stay at United was not amusing at all. To add insult to injury, there was that breakdown with the coach during the pre season.

Well there was a big U-turn involving us having our worst start of the season, sacking Jose and getting the smiles back.
At 23 years old, Martial is tied down to a five year contract with an option to extend for one more year. He has so far made 162 appearances and scored 46 goals. His signing a new contract is absolutely good news.
Since his debut for Manchester United in September 2015, Anthony Martial has been directly involved in more goals (72 - 46 goals, 26 assists) than any of his teammates in all competitions. [Source: OptaJoe]
Let's now hope Ed Woodward can get De Gea to sign a long term contract too. Aren't you excited, lads?
